Solar

One of the strongest solar storms in years engulfed Earth today.

Expanding like a giant soap bubble, the massive solar flair, 10-times stronger than the normal solar wind that hits the Earth, can disrupt utility grids, airline flights, GPS services and satalite networks.

That explains why the wife was complaining to Verizon about not getting American Idol.
